Talk to Denis - psychotherapist, counselor NLP master and Life Coach,
talk to Denis he can help.
I can help you to open up and heal the painful parts of your memory.
It can be hard to make that first step. Picking up the phone to speak to a therapist can be quite daunting. After all, what you have to say is very personal and the thought of talking to a complete stranger can be intimidating. Usually, if there's a phobia for example, the need to find a therapist is very strong just after a crisis and slowly, if the fear is going away, it is easy to be lulled into a sense of “it will be OK”. After all, you may have survived small or large fears for years, and you have somehow managed to cope. You can deal with a lot of pain without any help, but sometimes, the pain gets too much. Sometimes, living with the pain is so bad that suicidal thoughts creep in. When an unsolved problem is staying on the back of your mind for so long, it can grow and grow until it is using all the space in your mind. That's how you can move from having an unsolved problem to having severe anxiety or depression. A molehill becomes a mountain. Let's make molehills out of your mountains – Call me now for your appointment on 078 1584 4134.
If you suffer from a phobia, whatever this phobia is, the fear of the problem has probably by now disappeared behind the fear of the fear. This means that you are more scared that a crisis would occur than the initial reason why this developed all those years ago. If you are agoraphobic for example, you may feel stuck in a vicious circle. Fear of a potential new crisis in the middle of the shopping center becomes worse than fear of the situation itself. On top of this, you may experience a kind of shame that you feel this way in the first place! And this may cause a further block to talking about it. It is important to acknowledge the pain first, however unreal the proportions which the problem took over the years. It is perfectly real and painful. I am here to help you step out of the problem and get perspective, turn this problem around, and finally start working on it. As long as the problem is inside, you can't see it. Talking about it is a way to of observing it from a distance without feeling polluted with the constricting discomfort. So which tool should you use to overcome your phobia? Your unconscious mind has resources to help you that you can't even imagine. Your unconscious mind can be my best friend, helping me to help you. Together, I use intuition and skill to determine what tools will work for you, so that you can feel better. Think of me as a mirror in front of you, helping you to reflect your inner reality in order to change the unrealistically scary perception that you have of the situation. As soon as you change your perception of the situation, you allow the situation to change as well. There's a lot of painful things in life that are kept buried deep inside. Too scared to talk about them, too scared to be judged, we can be too scared to lose our credibility in front of friends, parents, or even colleagues. It can take courage to make a decision to talk to someone, to change the situation and finally let go of the pain. Take that first step now; I promise you won't regret it – call me for your appointment on 078 1584 4134.
